Too expensive..no bread no salad with steak. I'm fine.

I had one of the best grouping dishes in my life in this bistro. Really amazing.

What a special small place to enjoy a quiet meal with dear friends. I asked our lovely server when substitutions were allowed, hate being THAT customers, and lo, their husband, the boss who expressed himself in my elbow, to ask carefully about my nutritional preferences. I only regretted asking to limit my beloved sweets and strengths. Surprises me? I proposed. His duck breast was excellent, and the Brussels spirouts were excellent. My stolen taste of nearby plates proved that my fine meal was not a lucky one. My friends and I stayed for a long time, enjoying entertainment without feeling rushed or out of balance by other diners or TV. A small delicate classical music that was added to the evening serenity. The menu prices were better with other local good restaurants, but at least one star. Very recommended, and then some!

Good place. Great food. Better people. You?ll be surprised what you can find on a back road in Hertford. Definitely check it out
