Fortunately, the bar has not been much renovated, mostly maintaining its original character. It is a safe, enjoyable, and cheap place to relax if one finds themselves in Nogales. Good professional bar wait staff.
Definitely not the cleanest but a fun hangout for an evening across the border. Great place to get a bottled beer and shot of tequila. Definitely an experience crossing over. Nogales is not a very safe city but safer than crossing into Chihuahua from El Paso. My brother lives in El Paso and his significant other said she has not crossed into Chihuahua in 25 years.
Well I loved all of Nogalez not just because my Fiancee living their but the culture and the people are awesome.Regis I felt in love from the staff to the customers . People know how to sing ,wow. Omg and the price of the beer unbelievable. Compare to 5.00 a bottle of Coors here omg. I'm heading back soon to Nogalez and I can't wait to go back to Regis
The bartender was super awesome! The inside is very clean and pretty nice. There were a few police outside so it was a little sketchy at first but once inside is well worth it. The drinks are super cheap too.. a margarita was $2.50 and I believe the beer was around that price also.
Located near hotels that are within walking distance of the border with Arizona. The interior is very nice wood everywhere, nice lighting and reasonable prices. This is not a typical Mexican cantina the clientele are mostly nicely dressed older men and women. The atmosphere is quiet and the music low enough so that one can carry on a conversation.
