Restaurant Bar Trocadero

This restaurant it is a very good place to take dinner with you family, or spend a good time with your friends, such a nice place

Trocadero is an establishmment I have been coming to for 30+ years, and it remains consistently good. Skirt steak, quesadillas quemadas, frijoles, and sopa fideo. How can it be messed up?

We went here with a group from a local business and it was great. This doesn't feel like a place that caters to the tourists but has more of a local feel. Some of the dishes seemed like local specialties, for example the picture shows a dried shredded beef appetizer that was really good. The decor stereotypical and is a little worn but it adds to the character. One observation from our group was for the same money you could go to El Marcos which is a little nicer.

Very decent eats, it's a bit pricier than other places in town, but I feel that it's worth it. A very old establishment with a set customer base, always a good choice for big reunions. The steaks never disappoint and the service is spot on. Did I mention the flan? Best home-style flan in town!

I have been to a lot of other steakhouses in Nogales and this is one of the best. It is very difficult for me to get steak cooked just right to medium to medium rare steak in Mexico. They always come out medium to well done. Thre of us ordered the rib eye (280 peso) medium and ithey came out medium to medium rare. it was wonderful. I've been to more expensive restaurants and they all came out well done. We were there at 7PM and there were body guard in the parking lot. It turns out that the Mayor of Nogales was having dinner inside. The place was clean and service was good. I highly recommend this place for steak.
