Marko's Chicken Souvlaki - HERNE HILL

We ordered souvlaki and chicken for the first time, and we will definitely return. The food was fresh and delicious, featuring perfectly cooked kebab meat cooked over an open flame. Everything was shiny and aromatic.

Vegetarian options: They have clearly marked items, or you can customize your own. Parking: There’s a spacious parking lot just up the road with plenty of available spots and a generous time limit. There's also limited street parking nearby with a very short time limit. Accessibility: I don’t recall any stairs, making it easy to access. Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

I wanted to support a local business, but my experience was disappointing. When a price is advertised, that's what customers expect to pay. However, when I went to pay, I was unexpectedly charged a card service fee, which neither the young girl at the counter nor any other staff seemed to understand. The manager then came out and was quite rude, explaining that this is standard for using EFTPOS and that all businesses do it. I know that's not true, and it's important for your staff to be informed and communicate this to customers. I prefer to pay in cash, but most places these days don’t accept it. It's a shame, because while the souvlaki was tasty and the girl at the register was lovely, the manager's attitude left a poor impression. I won't be returning.

Absolutely unreal, way more enjoyable and tastier than a doner kebab.Got a normal chicken souvlaki/gyro and it was perfect without any extras! Shoe string chips too, fresh as!Fantastic find!
