Amphora's Diner Deluxe - Herndon

While I don't visit Amphora as often as I'd like, I have been a loyal patron of their establishments for over thirty years, and I can confidently say that consistency is their hallmark. Whether you're at the diner, restaurant, or bakery, you can always expect top-notch quality, service, cleanliness, and flavor—arguably even better than most places! Over the years, I've sampled nearly everything on their menus. However, I have to admit I was taken aback when I learned they offered a Cuban Sandwich! As a Cuban Sandwich enthusiast, I'm quite particular (check out my Cuban Sandwich List). Although it isn’t a traditional Cuban Sandwich (since Panini is not Cuban), their seasoning and preparation of the meats and key ingredients really make it worthwhile, especially in an area where this famous sandwich is hard to come by. I would definitely return for another! During my visit, we also enjoyed their Caesar Salad and Chicken Avocado Salad, both of which were exceptional. If you’re looking for consistent quality and flavor, this is the place to go. Keep up the great work, guys!
