Costa Coffee - Herefordshire, County of

During our visit to this coffee house, it was quite crowded and we had to wait a while before being served. Many of the tables appeared to be in need of a thorough cleaning. It didn't quite meet the standards of other Costa locations we have visited in various places.

I have to echo the sentiments of the previous reviewer regarding the cleanliness of this restaurant. The establishment is quite old and appears to be a disorganized and unsanitary environment. It would be advisable for health inspectors to pay a visit. During my visit, I was served coffee in a dirty cup. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I received a replacement cup that was still subpar in terms of cleanliness. Overall, the experience was rather disappointing and left much to be desired in terms of hygiene standards.

I waited in line for 15 minutes, giving me ample time to observe the flies buzzing around the cakes on the counter. Every table was littered with dirty mugs and plates. When a customer brought this to the attention of a staff member, they were informed that nothing could be done due to being short-staffed. Unfortunately, the restaurant was a dirty, unpleasant environment.

Was waiting in the queue and a boy behind the counter drops a lot of trays on the ground. This sudden loud crash effected me as i have damaged ears and always wear ear protection, but even so it scared the hell out of me and left my ears aching for a few days afterwards : The coffee was ok though, and they did add the vanilla shot :

Where ever we go in this country we always try to find a Costa Coffeehouse as their coffee is always consistently good quality the outlet in Hereford is no exception, it is well up to standard all can be purchased for a very reasonable price.
