This restaurant is fantastic, with extremely friendly and energetic staff. The food and coffee are top-notch. If you're a fan of a full English breakfast, this is the perfect spot to visit if you're in Hereford.

We were a party of vegans and gluten free. The menu accommodated all our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place for a sociable lunch in very nice surroundings.

Have visited Cookies on many occasions and enjoyed great coffee and great service. Unfortunately not today. Called in for drinks and toasties. Drinks arrived fairly quickly but not the food. We waited a while, even after we had finished our drinks, but still no sign of them. My partner went in to check and the girl at the counter said she would check for us. Well the toasties turned up a few minutes later, obviously having been just quickly prepared, evident from the warmed slices of cheese rather than melted, with an apology for the delay. The cafe itself was not very busy (Monday morning) and the delay in fact was that the person who had taken the order, and who was the same person who eventually made the toasties, was clearly seen chatting to customers they knew, well after our order was placed. Whether they just forgot, I don 't know, but it was a bit of a let down as the service has always been quick, even at it 's busiest, on previous occasions. Hope it 's just a one off occasion.

Really lovely local independent cafe, staff so nice and friendly, good quality food and coffee, lovely place to sit and catch up with friends. Been going here for years. However only 4 stars because since becoming vegan just over a year ago there has never been a single vegan cake on offer when I've come to get coffee and cake with my friends or family, and one of the staff even said she is vegan herself! It's a bit sad when everyone else is eating cake and you just have to sit there, not even a pre-wrapped little brownie or anything.

I adore this café. The food and coffee are both delicious. The jacket potatoes are outstanding and the homemade cakes and scones are mouth-watering. The customer service is exceptional and the coffee is delightful.
