Wombat Hill House - HEPBURN SPRINGS

We love coming to wombat house cafe. The food and coffee are always good. We would like to say on our last visit the heavy metal music made it hard to sit back and relax. We appreciate the kitchen staff enjoyed the music but it probably is not suitable for a relaxing cafe. We look forward to our next visit

Set in the picturesque Wombat Hill gardens Wombat Hill House offered a warm rustic dining space both inside the house as well as a heated and covered outdoor space. We were greeted “enthusiastically” and offered a choice of seating. We chose two separate pizzas, as the waitress suggested one would not be enough for two people, but in fact we could have shared a single pizza.We ordered a pizza with caramelised onion, potato, rosemary, fetta and mozzarella, and one with chorizo, tomato and mozzarella. Both were enjoyable. We also ordered and enjoyed a glass of local wine.Nice interlude on a very chilly July day.

Delicious modern cuisine, doggy friendly outdoor areas and great location. Friendly and attentive staff, loved it.

My husband and I decided to drop by this lovely cafe in the forest a couple of days ago for coffee and sweets. My husband had the caramel cake and I went a little sweet tooth happy choosing the brownie.... incredible!!! Coffee was astounding and the enthusiastic barista was the cherry on top of the cake. His bubbly attitude and helpful nature was a highlight to our wonderful visit. Would highly recommend stopping by!What a beautiful little cafe!

Lovely setting pretty drive around, excellent spot and pleasant for coffee etc ..pleasant staff too affordable
