Harvest Cafe - HEPBURN SPRINGS

Absolutely EXCELLENT! Not only an amazing range of vegan/vegetarian fresh dishes but a wonderful store packed with every type of berry, nut, legume and vegan substitute one could dream of! Enjoying the vegan lentil patties alongside the lentil and vegetable soup (I've never had something so boasting with flavour) was truly the highlight of my day. Not to mention their selection of raw and refine-sugar free desserts and pastries. Just amazing, who would have thought- in Daylesford!

The building has an old and quaint charm, both inside and out. The staff, who were young and cheerful, were very friendly and engaging. The food they served us was the highlight of our visit. My brother was impressed by the 'Big Breakfast' but opted for the 'Open Lamb Kebab' instead, which he found to be perfect. My mother, who is a coeliac and vegetarian, was delighted to find a delicious homemade Gluten Free Vegetable Pie on the menu. It was loaded with oven-roasted vegetables and she was very impressed, especially since she rarely gets to have pastry anymore. As for myself, I tried the 'Chilli Fries,' a funny and quirky local delight. They were delicious and offered a unique flavor that I hadn't experienced before. Overall, I give Harvest Cafe a big thumbs up. The meals were generously sized and beautifully presented, yet surprisingly affordable. I will definitely be returning to Harvest Cafe and will make a point to explore beyond the main streets of country towns in the future. It truly is a gem!

Usually ok but last two times there was disappointed. Will give it another go again.

Delicious French toast and fresh juice but had to wait 45min to get it!

Rustic dining. The food at Harvest Cafe is quite enjoyable, with decent portion sizes. I was pleasantly surprised to find a spot that can consistently cook a perfect poached egg (which can be hard to find). My main gripe with Harvest Cafe is that their coffee is just average and the wait times are a bit too long; waiting 30 minutes for breakfast seems excessive. Despite these drawbacks, the food quality is excellent and it's a good value for the price.
