Pepperoncini Restaurant Bar, Havertown

This wasn't our first visit, so we were already aware that the food would be excellent. We had a reservation for 7 PM. Initially, the hostess tried to seat us downstairs near the front door, but we requested a table upstairs, and they accommodated us swiftly. The drinks were fantastic, our meals were delicious, and the service was exceptional. It's a wonderful spot, and I'm sure we'll return again soon.

For our appetizer, we tried “Abby's Sprouts,” and they were incredible! The portion was so generous that it could have served as a main course, but we enjoyed it so much that we finished it all. I ordered the “Chicken Pepperoncini” with Rigatoni, and it was excellent. I frequently find that chicken cutlets at Italian restaurants can be overcooked and tough, but these were cooked to perfection. It was a large serving, so I took half of it home and devoured it the next day. My wife had the special strip steak topped with crab, which she loved. Once again, the portion was substantial, and she brought home half. For dessert, we shared a “Pumpkin Butter Cake,” and it was so delicious that I might find it hard to enjoy a regular pumpkin pie ever again! This place is definitely going to be our go-to spot; it’s fantastic!

We dine at this restaurant 1 to 3 times a month. The food is always delicious, expertly prepared, and cooked to order. There’s never a long wait after placing our order. Dining here guarantees a great evening!

The food at this place is amazing, it's a small local establishment serving great Italian dishes. You should go on a Sunday for the items only available on the Sunday Gravy menu. This was our second time there and we will definitely be back!

Menu was very limited. The restaurant had a $25 Sunday dinner menu which included a side salad. When we asked for additional side salad we were told they couldn't do it because it was only for that $25 menu. Not to mention it was my boyfriend's birthday and he couldn't even get a salad like he wanted. The food was bland and some pasta was cold while others were warm. Our server was very cold and didn't have much of a personality. Frankly, I felt pretty uncomfortable. The vibe was just off. For the limited menu and the lack of seasoning, for $88 for two , I wouldn't suggest it.
