My dining experience at this restaurant on Hayling Island during the jazz weekend was delightful. Although we didn't have time to try the dessert before heading off to enjoy the jazz music, I am confident it would have been just as delicious as the rest of the meal. Rodney, the owner and chef, was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions, for which I am grateful.

We visited this restaurant for the second time in a month. We had the lamb shank and venison which were cooked to perfection. We made room for a desserts consisting of trio of ice cream, and steamed pudding. Both were gorgeous. The service was perfect, with us being led to the table and our starters ready. The atmosphere was lovely, and relaxed, with one or two other tables full. This. restaurant is a gem to the island and we will be returning.

This restaurant is excellent. Yvonne, Rodney, and their staff are always polite, and the food is consistently delicious. The prices for meals are very reasonable, however adding wine or pre-dinner drinks will increase the cost. In response to other reviews, I would like to mention that a) there is nothing wrong with the decor; I come here to eat, not to admire the scenery, and b) I appreciate the policy of not allowing the use of mobile phones. It is a small, intimate restaurant, and I do not want my experience to be disrupted by someone else's phone conversations. Please continue to run the restaurant the way it is.

This restaurant is a standout among the fast food joints in the area. The food is definitely gourmet, and though it's not a big place, it's clean and cozy. The staff are welcoming, but not pushy. Located in the West of Hayling Island with its own parking lot, this restaurant is a must-try for anyone who loves good food. - David
