The Magic Wok - Hastings

A few years back we had a maden in the rice and effortless to say never went back there until now and really we don't want! we go in the rule to silverhill chinese takeaway, which is fresh, tasty and very reasonable, unfortunately they were. tonight, so my man suggested, we try the magic wok again as it has been a few years. the noodles and rice were super dry and blande, the meat was gristal and there were some sloppy species, the unrecognizable meat substitute in the special fried rice. I felt sick and couldn't eat anymore. to make it from his super-experienced. my advice avoids all costs.

Even if we have a Chinese takeaway 500 meters from our house, we always order magic wok in silverhill and have done for many years. personal always friendly, eat well delivered within the specified time scale. always hot and delicious...can never order from anywhere.

I feel sad saying that the magic wok has badly descended in the last month or so.,I have been a loyal customer for over 14 years. it is always what I consider the best in the city..always so fresh and perfectly prepared and cooked. a month ago I came to friends and the whole order was terrible... not to save. tasteless noodles and burned teig. even the tear was terrible! the tofu with black bean, which is usually a dream, was a dirty..watery sauce and underboiled tofu. Because I was such a faithful customer, I could not just give up, so I ordered a meal this evening only for me. sad it was the same story. only badly cooked! boiled teig on the point of the chicken under roar and burned among other disappointments. Maybe they changed the hands? Maybe it's another cook. either her is a big problem and I sincerely hope that she can come back from this!

The food was the worst I have tasted it was very bland and full of salt. I have been going there for 2yrs and the food has changed over the last few weeks .i will not going anymore.
