The restaurant itself is also great, featuring a well-rounded menu and a lovely outdoor patio, as well as a cozy sheltered room and an indoor area with a fireplace. We tried the sharing platter, which was decent but could have benefited from a nicer bread selection instead of basic white bread. Main dishes were priced in the $30 range. The only areas for improvement, aside from the pricing, would be the view from the tasting room and restaurant.

My husband and I rented bikes and made Clearview our first stop for wine tasting at 10:30 AM. The estate was stunning, and we had a fantastic experience with the wine tasting. We sampled four different wines, all at no charge! We particularly enjoyed the Coastal Chardonnay and the Sea Red Dessert Wine. The dessert wine was paired with pieces of chocolate that enhanced its flavor. As a family-owned winery, they treated us like guests, which made our visit to Hawke's Bay truly memorable during our travels in New Zealand.

We had a fantastic lunch after an amazing biking adventure. Unfortunately, despite having made a reservation well in advance, there was a long wait for our food to arrive. It would be great if they could streamline their reservations to prevent this issue, as we would love to give a five-star review. The food, however, truly is divine.

Clear Water offered a relaxed open atmosphere with a covered tent-patio area. The food and wine pairing were spot on! Lots of fun on a hot day.

This was the second winery my girlfriend and I visited in the Hawkes Bay region. We rented bikes in Napier, which was a good thought in practice, but makes for a 23km ride each way so be warned. Nevertheless, we were tired and hungry and the first winery (Elephant Hill) was a bit too chic to have lunch (prices in the $34-$38 range for Mains). Clearview has over 20+ wines to taste and the best part is the tastings are FREE!! Moreover, they serve food, and the menu selection was good (even though they were out of several options). The views are very nice, the food was tasty and the ambience was perfect for a biking couple. Would definitely recommend.
