The Purple Carrot - Hassocks

So happy that I stumbled over this caffe. they were happy to make my lunch as I wanted what was delicious. large vegan options and the service was perfect.

Simple caffe, nothing imaginative, but eating was decent. beautiful selection of smoothies/young. I had the vegan all day breakfast and it was a pretty big size! hath brown, sausage, burger art cache, mushrooms, tomatoes, buzz, spinat and toast! service was also very friendly. I could not try the cake, but she looked good with a few vegan options

Chris, the owner, is an absolute delight. I highly recommend this charming café. We will definitely be returning.

The best full English I've ever had. My sister had a shakshuka for the first time outside of Israel and it was amazing. Very generous portions. Will definitely visit again.

A truly wonderful menu full of veggie and vegan options, as well as meat options. I had a delicious mix of nachos/Buddha bowl with chickpea and tomato curry, veggies, fresh dill, houmous, sour cream and an iced coffee. We ate outside at the front and watched the world go by. The location is great for access to hassocks train station as its less than 100m from the south bound platform. I believe there is a delightful garden at the back too, but we didn't explore that. I can highly recommend the purple carrot as a great place to stop for a drink, a snack or a full meal. They are fully licensed for alcohol too. Can't wait to go back!
