La Casita Del Sabor - Hartford

Delicious tasty is quite the only way to describe this place. Is it small? Was it hot like the eggs in this restaurant today (in the middle of the heat wave)? Is there any villains? Probably, though I didn't see one. This is one of those holes in the wall where they mainly speak Spanish, but the food speaks for itself. Really so authentic and so good. The portions are huge, so come with a healthy appetite. The server gave great service and the food was amazing.

Nice place. The food in the menu looks good. I only had a few minutes when I was with my son. We made a short bite while my mom was in the hospital. I used to go to a Jamaican restaurant, but as I said I was with a 6 years old. Somehow, so the spicy beef tacos were amazing. Better the fact that the beef was tender and in pieces/knives. The season was in point. The regular bovine taco was shrunk and carburized. He said it was good and he ate it? The guy who took my order was kind and a lot of work easy. There were 17 dollars and some changes. A lil more than Waterbury, but I understand that prices change from one area to another. All 2.75 for a taco is great. Just because I didn't give them 5 is the difference in meat for the tacos. Make sure you get the red and green sauce. I don't know the names. I'm asking for the red and green sauce. Waiting was only 15 minutes. Next time I'll order a family plate in advance. Check out the website that will tell you more.

Hands down, the best. So in love with this place. Best fish tacos I've ever had and they're LOADED with super fresh, lightly fried fish. Amazing amazing amazing. I recommend my clients to them all the time. I wish they had more outside seating! I feel like they could totally make a cute little patio into the parking lot a bit with a few extra tables. Highly recommended if you're in the Hartford area.

Food is delicious, large portions. Few vegetarian options. The place is also super smokey. My clothes smelled like smoke the whole rest of the day.

My review is based on 5 factors, food, pricing, cleanness, wait time, parking space and friendliness. Many reviewers based everything on food which personally I think is the wrong representation of the business and leave the public to experience the location themselves. Walking is we noticed the place was really small. Getting there by 5:15 and ordering 10 minutes later I couldn't help but noticed the place was really hot. They only had 1 AC. The bathroom is really tiny and they only have one keep that in mind when coming here. It took over an hour for us to get our foods. The food is good just as long you don't have High Blood Pressure. They seem to love salt. Pricing is fair and they load up your dish great for take home. Staff there are really friendly. Place do have off street parking space. Overall, I had to give this place an honest 3 star.
