Blue State Coffee - Hartford

The lox bagel was pretty good, 4/5. Healthy portion of salmon in it. The iced chai was very good, and the spices in it were very prominent (in a good way). Would recommend.

The only downside was that there were no outlets or charging stations available, which caused my laptop to die while I was working. Fortunately, I had a book and their coffee to keep me company. If you plan to stay for a while like I did, I recommend ordering food or tipping the staff well, as it’s courteous to consider the space you're occupying. Overall, I would rate this place 10/10.

As a first-time customer, I was warmly welcomed by a friendly staff member at the counter. They provided great recommendations for the coffee and breakfast sandwiches. My partner tried the egg and cheese bagel with hummus, while I opted for the sourdough egg and cheese sandwich. We both enjoyed the True Blue brew coffee. The sandwiches were absolutely delightful, and the coffee was equally impressive. The restaurant's atmosphere was clean and inviting. I give this place a perfect 5 out of 5 stars and would definitely love to come back for breakfast.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was very friendly, and the coffee was delicious. I often get lox bagels from here, and occasionally, I stop by on my way to work to grab iced lattes with oat milk to-go. They’re quick, and I really appreciate the option to order online for pick-up in advance.

This was the second restaurant we visited during our trip to Hartford. My wife, daughter, and I went for breakfast, and we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who took a special liking to our 2-year-old. We enjoyed dark roast coffee, a latte, and bagels with sausage, egg, and cheese, along with turkey, egg, and cheese. Everything was fresh and delicious—a perfect way to start our day on a rainy morning.
