Zizzi - Harrogate

The customer service at this restaurant is excellent. The food is presented nicely and tastes great. It is also good value for money. The restaurant has recently been renovated. I would recommend it.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The staff were friendly but seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. Despite their efforts, there were complaints all around us. Our starters took a long time to arrive, which is understandable on a busy Saturday night, but waiting over half an hour was excessive. The food was mediocre at best - the mains were bland and the garlic bread had no flavor. This was a letdown considering I have been happy with other locations of this restaurant in the past.

We arrived at the restaurant and ordered garlic bread as a starter for the group. Our main courses were brought out while we were still enjoying the starter. I ordered paella for my main course, but the portion size was very small for the price I paid. When we asked for the bill, the server forgot about it, so we had to ask someone else to bring it to us.

Poor service despite booking and being virtually empty. Took ages to get food, and food average. Wouldn't recommend or go again.

Decided to treat myself to a meal after work last Saturday at Zizzi's. The service was excellent. My waiter Eugene was friendly, welcoming,efficient, and fun. My food was gorgeous. My pizza dough was thin and crispy, with delicious toppings. My dessert was lovely too. There was a wonderful buzz in the restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience and will definitely return.
