Her sweet tea was absolutely delicious! It had a hint of mango undertones and a slight tamarind infusion; it was freshly brewed daily, as our server mentioned. The Reismic beans were very tasty as well! The pork chops were well-seasoned, but they were cooked at a high temperature, making them a bit tough. However, this wasn’t a major issue since they were thin, contributing perfectly to the nutrition. The beef fajitas were great! I also tried a breakfast taco with chicharrón and egg, which was really good when served hot. The picadillo had a distinct American flavor, deviating from the typical RGV/Mexican taste. It had a more urban vibe, reminiscent of dishes you might find in San Antonio or larger cities in the U.S., where authentic Mexican restaurants can be hard to come by. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely return!

It's always a pleasure to dine there. The food is great, and the service is lovely. We started with a delicious sopita appetizer.

This restaurant offers fantastic food at an excellent price, and you really can't go wrong with any of the menu options. The barbacoa was particularly delicious, but it's only available on Saturdays. We ordered the last two barbacoa tacos along with a large chorizo and egg taco and some menudo. Make sure to get in early, as the barbacoa can run out by around 11 o'clock on Saturdays!

Eating is delicious! it reminded me of the kitchen of my oma and the prices are very affordable! I will eat more often here

Their tortillas remind me of my grandmother's tortillas. It brought back such wonderful memories of my grandma making her home made flour tortillas
