Palmeras Tex-mex - Harker Heights

My husband and I have been to this restaurant twice and let me tell you—as someone who has dined at some nice restaurants, Las Palmeras is a cut above. Impeccable service, superior food, and classy atmosphere that makes it one of the BEST restaurants in Central Texas!Here is something else that must be remarked on—the graciousness of the owner or manager! This gentleman proves that kindness and hospitality never go out of style!Vegetarian options: I had vegetarian quesadillas with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and I added shrimp which were seasoned to perfection!

On a not so busy night I was sat and waited 15 minutes for the owner to notice the concerned look on my face. I told him I hadn’t been seen yet and he left to go find someone. It took another 5 minutes for someone to come ask what I would like to have. They were good at getting my drink out and an appetizer quickly but the Mac and cheese was barely warmed up and there were a lot of noodles that were hard. I informed the waiter of my frustration and he informed the kitchen along with the owners. They took care of the small bill as I didn’t wanted to stay and find out what else was not right. Great environment, saxophone player was awesome! Wish I could have enjoyed my food more.

The food, drinks, and wait time were horrendous. The waitress was super kind but the overall food was terrible.

Always great food, service, and atmosphere … Palmeras is our go to for a fun night with friends!

We went to Palmeras for Easter brunch. Fantastic atmosphere, superb service and AMAZING food! A couple came by our table to say hello and wish us a Happy Easter. I’m assuming it was the owners. Our waitress was super friendly and even gave us a recommendation from the menu which was spot on! Their mimosas are a must! Will definitely be back to Palmeras!
