Ruth's Chris Steak House - Harbor Creek

We were disappointed with our visit as this franchise was not up to par with other Ruth Chris locations we have visited. There was hardly any butter with our steaks, nobody asked if they were cooked to our liking, we had to remind the waitress about drinks we ordered, and the birthday desert for my mother was underwhelming, to say the least. Normally these things don't bother me but I expect better when we are paying top dollar for fine dining.

We have been here several times to celebrate family events and tonight was by far the worse experience of them all. First, the hostess felt my daughter's attire was not up to their dress code, so we were sat in the bar area instead of the dining room with no one explaining the situation to us. They just kept us waiting until after our reservation time and just sat us in the bar area. I thought this was interesting bc we saw several other people who had on more revealing outfits not to mention one of the hostess had on a very short tight skirt. It was handled very poorly. We come back here time and time again bc of the wonderful service. Tonight, we had to ask a manager for water refills which we only got once. We ordered a tomahawk steak and usually it is brought out, presented, sliced, and then served. Tonight, it was just sat in front of the person that ordered it. Some of the sides were on the cold side and again no refills. Everyone has a bad day, but when people are spending $400 on a dinner and celebrating a big milestone for a family member, the management needs to be more attentive and aware of the waitstaff. There was a big difference between the bar side and the dining room side which is really unfortunate. Don't think we will be back, but if we do, we will make sure that we try and wear what they deem appropriate so that our reservation for the dining room can be honored.

Whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a night out, Ruth's Chris Savannah provides a memorable experience with its blend of fine dining, exceptional service, and Southern hospitality.

One of the best meals this year, and maybe a long time before that. Excellent food, excellent attentive service and the restaurant was wonderfully quiet. No unwanted music. No people talking loudly. Could not even hear the people at the next table. All-in-all, a delightful experience.

Our server (Kate) was awesome! She recommended a cocktail my wife loved. She was always available to refresh my martini and check to ensure our needs were met. The filets were delicious as well as our sides. After finishing our dinner we were full and unable to order dessert. Kate sent us home with a delicious chocolate molten cupcake! We will ALWAYS visit Ruth's Chris when we visit Savannah!
