Nick 's certainly looks nothing special from outside, but it was convenient to the hotel, so we stopped in for an early supper between tournament games. It was an off peak time, so our server was apparently the manager or the owner. He was certainly competent...and we had no mistakes with our orders, but while waiting for our food we played a game of could someone see him smile . No one ever did. The steak was OK, but the pizza was truly excellent, and good value for money.
We initially thought we would have a quick dinner at this street-side restaurant. However, we ended up waiting for our food for an hour, which was not at all fast. To make matters worse, the server brought us the wrong salmon dish that two of us had ordered, but mistakes happen. When we asked for the dill sauce that we had paid for with the higher-priced salmon, the kitchen staff refused to give it to us. Instead of quickly fixing the error by simply giving us the sauce, they insisted that we wait for the whole meal to be remade, which would take another hour. The server was friendly, but unfortunately, the kitchen staff seemed unwilling to make customers happy.
I tried the Canadian burger and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and I will definitely come back when I pass through again.
There is a fantastic burger that was average, as well as a clubhouse sandwich that was terrible and tasted like cardboard. The meat was gray and strict. Had minimal toppings and filled with a slice of bread to give it size. After two bites went back to talk to the server and asked for an exchange for which she refused to say that as it did here. I asked to speak to a manager and she claimed that she was the manager and refused a request for a refund. I'll never eat again in this poor restaurant.
