Jen's Thai Food - Hana

A nice place to grab a bite to eat on your way to Hana. Meat, fish, and vegetarian options, and the portions are pretty big. Make sure to ask for not spicy, or you might end up regretting it!

The food truck has relocated to downtown Hana, and it’s definitely worth the wait—it’s absolutely delicious! We ordered the green papaya salad, and it was spicy, fresh, and fantastic. The service was quick and friendly as well.

If you're heading to Hana and need a lunch stop, this restaurant is a great choice. There are several other shops in the vicinity, making it convenient for everyone to find something to eat. I particularly enjoyed this place because Chef Jen prepares everything fresh. I would highly recommend it, especially for vegetarians. I ordered the pad thai with tofu and vegetables, and it was delicious; the tofu was fresh and perfectly soft. There are also various Thai options like red curry, spicy basil fried rice, and more. You can choose your preferred type of protein or vegetable, which is impressive given the small size of the restaurant. There are benches outside to sit and eat, and you can also find restrooms. Overall, this is a must-visit spot on your way to Hana.

The stall is currently closed and entirely empty, much like many other vendors along the Road to Hana, likely due to the impacts of pandemic travel. Hopefully, it will reopen one day!
