Denny's - Hampton

We went for a late dinner last night and found the restaurant quite understaffed, with only one server and one cook on duty. The server, whose name I believe was Steve, did an outstanding job despite the circumstances. He was incredibly friendly and worked tirelessly as the sole server. The food was fantastic, and the portions were generous, which really impressed me. We definitely left Steve a generous tip because he truly deserved it. We will definitely be returning to this Denny's in the future.

I was served quickly considering how busy the restaurant was and the limited staff. My food was tasty, and by the time I left, the waitress had even started cooking. The shortage of help was quite noticeable, but I've never seen a harder-working team at a Denny's before! If you can be patient, you'll enjoy delicious food and a better-than-average experience!

The food here was fantastic, but the restaurant is noticeably understaffed. They are upfront about this issue as soon as you arrive. Although the wait can be lengthy, the friendliness of the staff more than compensates for it. The meals are delicious, clearly prepared with care, and served promptly! If you can be patient with the wait, you won’t be let down.

Visited the location in Hampton, VA. The store was crowded, and service was slow. We persevered and got seated . We were finally served by a delightful server named Alexis. She was calm and friendly and brought our food in a timely manner. I was impressed by how professional the staff remained during a hectic time; unflappably! Kudos to the team!
