The English Muffin - Hampstead

I have been going to this restaurant since I was young and it has always been one of my favorites. I enjoy their breakfast dishes the most and it is always my go-to spot if they are open. The French Toast and deep fried home fries are especially tasty. They also serve delicious coffee. Despite being busy, we are seated relatively quickly. It is a great little spot that I love.

We visited this restaurant after touring a wedding venue and were recommended by one of the staff there. Despite a short wait on a Sunday afternoon, we were promptly seated in this cozy little place. The omelet, toast, tater tots, and muffin were delicious. Our server was quick in getting our orders right and serving our food, although she did not introduce herself. The staff were working hard in the tight space. I deducted one star for the slightly dingy diner atmosphere, with grungy salt and pepper shakers, ketchup bottles, and suspect silverware, as well as the cramped seating. However, overall the food and service were excellent.

I have found my new favorite spot!! The service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious!

Used to be ok, but seems to be going down hill... 2 out of 3 of the things we ordered were wrong. And after being told we don 't serve lunch on the weekends the table behind us, who came in and sat after us, both got lunch, by the same person that told us that ?!?!
