There seems to be a discrepancy in pricing between this Smoothie King branch and the one in Ponchatoula. While Smoothie King franchises do not set prices, they do have suggested pricing. Unfortunately, this branch does not adhere to the suggested pricing, as I paid $11.5x for a medium smoothie, which was $2 more expensive than the Ponchatoula branch. Due to the increasing prices and inconsistent quality of the smoothies, I will not be returning to this location and will instead choose a location with more reasonable prices. Despite this, the staff is friendly, which prevented me from giving it a one-star rating.

The restaurant, called Smoothie King, focuses on offering a variety of smoothies. However, during my visit they were out of smoothies and unable to make a smoothie bowl. It was quite surprising and disappointing. In my opinion, they should have closed for the day and reopened once they had restocked their products. It's like McDonald's or Burger King running out of hamburgers - definitely not a good look for their business. Fortunately, Hammond has two other Smoothie King locations to choose from.
