Mariners Inn - Hammond

I tried the Blackened Grilled Chicken dish at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! The house salad was the best I have ever had. My husband ordered the Hot Strips appetizer tossed in Buffalo Sauce and he really enjoyed it. Our daughter couldn't get enough of the fries at this place, she ate more here than at any other restaurant we've been to! We will definitely be returning. Despite living in Hammond for 4 years, we had never tried this place before and we can't believe we waited so long. It has quickly become our new favorite restaurant. Plus, the honey mustard was outstanding!

This has been a long standing establishment that I took way too long to try out. It 's not very fancy, but cozy and unique. The important part is the food seems to be VERY consistent...something often overlooked in reviews. The wings might be the best intown, get them extra crispy . Best cheese fries around town as well. Small outdoor patio with a band from time to time.

Had a lovely evening I had the shrimp platter with house salad and fries. Everything I had was delicious perfectly cooked and seasoned. Drinks were good and strong at not a bad price. Only thing that kinda bothered me was lack of being checked on. Kindalike my regular drink not to be empty too long but that's just my opinion.

The food was excellent and definitely worth the price.

I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. I enjoyed a meal outdoors while listening to a live band. The food was delicious, served hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Amanda. Eating at the restaurant was much better than getting takeout. I ordered the crawfish meat pies and a softshell crab po-boy, both of which were fantastic. I also tried the Thai Tuna, and the flavorful sauce made it worth every dollar. I would rate my experience 10/10.
