Contribuiți la feedbackExcellent Italian restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. The cook is an absolute professional. I like the open kitchen where you can watch the cooks at work. Here it is worth booking a table when you land in Harburg.
After some changes were made to the staff, I was back for the first time in the Al Limone and had Saltimbocca alla Romana for the evening, with the house wine. Good homemade bread was brought with olives and garlic oil as a greeting from the kitchen. The salad on the front was fresh and crisp, but the salad sauce seemed to be a finished product. The main court was appealing. The Saltimbocca was good, not overwhelming, the salbeisauce lacked salbeisauce and white wine. The grill, which served as a supplement, was very good, crisp, had beautiful roasted flavors, was well tasted. The rosemary apples had unfortunately never seen rosemary and some tasted like they were lying in the refrigerator some time after cooking. When dessert I had a Cassata (Cassata is written with a t; and an espresso was delicious. Unfortunately, the Al Limone does not reach the quality of the past, but you can eat well there.
Very cozy restaurant with nice service. Eat not only recommended for the eye. With us, new customers have won, thanks.
As the only Indian restaurant in Harburg area (at least most search results say so), we didn't had many options to try from. Went there for a little late lunch on a Saturday and the place was kind of half full. It's not a big...restaurant from inside but the ambience is quite good and staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered Chilli Paneer Masala, Chana masala and daal. All the dishes were very tasty, especially Chilli Paneer, and also the quantity of the dishes was good, naans were also OK, if not the best. We found the starters in the menu to be quite expensive as the waiter said they would serve only pieces of pakora for a starter dish of about roughly Euro. But the good thing is waiter told us in advance about this so there were no bad surprises. Overall a pretty good Indian restaurant, would go again if I am in the vicinity.
We like Indian cuisine a lot and are always looking for a good place in Hamburg and vicinity. Most of the Indian restaurants however, serve germanized' food, adapted to the German palate, too greasy and by far not spicy enough. We discovered this restaurant on...the way to our favorite Portuguese restaurant in the same stretch. Being vegetarians, we enjoyed the multitude of veggie dishes and tried two sampling combos and were positively surprised, the samosas and pakoras were well prepared, not only filled with alloo(potatoes) but different veggies and nicely seasoned, and crspy, but not overly. The main dishes with channa, dhal, and seitan were really good and tasted seriously different for both of us, the naan was okay, and the papadums served as entry with the traditional three sauces were very good as well. The only thing we found odd: there was a green olives in the salad, however, the salad dressing was excellent, so no big deal.On the card we also found besides the naan the roti and the paratha roti, different kinds of bread, which we both like. The service was very friendly and helpful,we really felt welcome and treated well. Pricewise it was just okay, a little more than the cheapo-cheapo Indian take-aways, and a little less than the posh Indian restaurants.
