The Gavel Cafe And - Hambleton

Seven of us were spending a week flying at the Yorkshire Gliding Club, Sutton Bank and on a rainy morning we visited the Gavel for Breakfast on a Club Member’s recommendation. If you’re looking for a full English breakfast this is definitely the place to go. Good quality nicely cooked breakfast, good portions,(you would have to be ravenous to go for the large), excellent value for money, good service and friendly staff. Look forward to going to try the lunch on our next visit.

Been for lunch. Excellent meat in our sandwiches and delicious quiche at prices which mean you will be a return customer. In addition, service with a smile and a great menu to choose from. We'll worth a visit.

This little hidden gem is a must visit for hungry visitors to Thirsk Auction Mart. Proper food, served by friendly staff with prices that are easy on the wallet. We love this place, fabulous breakfasts for those with hearty appetite. Fast service and prices that no one could disagree with,
