Milanos - Hambleton

I visited the restaurant last night, January 6th, 2019, after a long day at work. I was hoping to enjoy a pizza with my colleague and leave feeling satisfied. However, the men in the restaurant were rowdy, rude, homophobic, and very loud. Despite the staff overhearing these inappropriate remarks, they did not address the situation. Additionally, the food I received was cold. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant. The lack of response from the staff was unacceptable. Overall, a poor experience.

We recently stayed at Woodland Lake Lodges and came across Milanos, a recommended takeaway option in our welcome package. The person who took our order over the phone was very professional and handled the call smoothly despite being busy. We ordered two large pizzas, a cheesy garlic bread, and a meat feast pizza. The pizzas were huge and absolutely delicious. It was a challenge to finish even a single slice due to their size and amazing taste. The total came to around £20 and was definitely worth it. We are big food enthusiasts and absolutely loved our meal from Milanos. We will definitely be back next year!

We have been ordering from Milanos for several years now, ever since Euro Pizza changed ownership. The food used to be good, but lately it has been disappointing. It's difficult to reach them on the phone, and when you do, they often disconnect the call. They always quote a 45-minute wait time, but it always ends up being over an hour. During our last order, we paid for extra toppings on a pizza that weren't included, and the large fries we ordered were very skimpy. In the past, they have forgotten items in our orders and promised to make it right next time, only to deny ever making that promise. Once, we received a completely wrong order, but when we showed them our receipt, they still didn't correct it. The restaurant always seems to be filled with a rowdy group of local kids, making it impossible to sit and wait for your order. We have decided to try other restaurants like Regency or Parmo House from now on.

5* Tried a few pizza places since moving to Thirsk but this is by far the best. Always polite on phone always get the right order, and quick delivery. Exceptional service one time I was needing to leave for work in an hour but delivery was longer than normal as very very busy, the shop phoned me back and we had pizza in 15 minutes as we do order more than we should . Highly recommend this shop to anyone.
