Chimoto - Hakone

It is definitely a skillful Japanese sweet shop. Hot water was really delicious, but other products are more delicious than usual. I know that it is made carefully. I am very happy to meet you. This delicious Japanese confectionery is good for young people to eat more! Even though old technology is also good, I want you to live a cute devised snack.

Staffs are patient (as we looked thru the menu and undecided what to buy) and service is quick. Three stars because the desserts are too sweet for us. Hachiri (bell shaped wafers with sweet bean paste) ¥250 quite pricey. Yumochi is a very sweet dessert which is not our cup of tea.

Amazing desserts that are soft, chewy and melt in your mouth!

Space here was really cute and cosy. The warabi mochi was really soft lile a marshmallow and the kinako was really fine and melted together so well with the mochi. The yumochi was chewy, fragrant and the citron taste notes made it really light, I really enjoyed it. The matcha was solidddd.
