Otto's Bakery - HAHNDORF

The sign on the door says 'Best Bakery in the Adelaide Hills '. Which is a bold claim, but it 's certainly up there with Lobethal Bakery and Millies at Mount Barker as being pretty good.<br/ <br/ Flat out on weekends selling like hotcakes to the Hahndorf Tourist crowds, but also selling because they 're good.<br/ <br/ Their savouries as great, but their sweets are really outstanding. Black Forest Cheesecake, chocolate tarts and a range of German inspired bits and pieces.<br/ <br/ Good coffee and nice sandwiches and rolls that they 'll make on the spot.<br/ <br/ A tried and true winner.

A must visit place upon your trip to Hahndorf. They serve some real delicious and authentic German cookies, cakes and baked variety. A fragrance that pulls u to this bakery and makes ur eating and drinking here a memorable one.<br/

I am so glad that me and my friend found this bakery. Being a vegetarian my eating options are a little limited. But if me and my friends plan to hangout in hahndorf then I completely sorted since I love eating here. The staff is amazing too.. Will visit again.

What more could you want from a visit to Hahndorf? Spring sunshine, German themed everything and Otto’s bakery selling “award winning” vanilla slices the size of your head. I was happy to oblige with my portion and strolled happily down the picturesque high street, chomping away until nothing remained. At only $4.60 for a very generous sized piece, I wasn’t anticipating the quality of the ingredients being so good if I’m honest.

One of my favorite cafes bakeries when in south australia. Food is fresh and tasty. Pies and sausages rolls made at location and taste amazing. Cakes are all fresh and taste so good. Great staff
