Herbees Cafe - HAHNDORF

We snuck up to Handorf early Sunday morning for coffee and breakfast.The cafe is in a lovely old house on the main street, we chose to sit out on the front veranda and take advantage of the early morning sun.Service was great and the meal and coffee superb. A nice friendly relaxing atmosphere and worth the trip up the hills.

Had I not been with a friend who had a 5 year old daughter, there's a distinct possibility that I would've easily overlooked Herbees.

Not every cafe has to be trendy and niche to earn a spot in my favorites.

This place reminds me of the movie Bee, where happy dizzy bees zip across Happy Land.

Popped in for lunch on Sunday 30th July and really enjoyed sitting out on the verandah watching the world pass by. The food was tasty and the coffee was good. It would have been a 5 star review but felt the service was lacking, the blonde lady who served us did not smile, was impatient when ordering and was bordering on being rude, she may want to reconsider her career in customer service!
