Rik's Cafe - Hagerstown

During our latest visit, we tried one of the specials: a chicken sandwich that I believe included beer can chicken breast, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and macaroni and cheese, all nestled in a burger bun. I was a bit wary that it might be too much to handle, but the bartender, with whom we sat at the bar, assured me otherwise, so I ended up using a knife and fork. My wife opted for the macaroni and cheese on the side and took a big bite of the sandwich. It was delicious! We also indulged in dessert—a red velvet cake—which was quite delightful. Although we enjoy a little dessert, we rarely finish one even when sharing, so we brought the leftovers home. For anyone looking for great food, I highly recommend visiting Rik's!

We dine at Riks a few times a year, and it always exceeds our expectations! Every dish we've tried has been outstanding. Chef Arik is incredibly talented, and the entire staff is highly attentive. This past week, Kelsie was our waitress, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience! We absolutely love this place and the wonderful team behind it! Keep up the fantastic work!

This restaurant offers not only the best food I've had in a long time, but also exceptional service! We were warmly welcomed and treated like family. The food was thoughtfully seasoned and expertly prepared. Both the bison burger and mahi tacos were outstanding! Our lovely server, Rick, even took the initiative to split our plates for easy sharing without us asking. To enhance our experience even further, Rik, the owner, came by to check on us. He was friendly, personable, and professional. We will definitely be returning!

OMG! First time here based on Trip Advisor’s #1 rating. Fantastic hostess, great bar/server staff, great friendly interaction between staff members and with their customers. Food was perfectly cooked, well presented and absolutely fresh and delicious. We had the scallop special and the lamb burger. Can’t say enough!

I do enjoy dining at Riks .. great servers .. food selections right on top of anyone’s list .. never had one bad meal there ..and then to have management come over to everyone’s table to chat .. hoping one day to see Riks on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. !!
