Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Hagerstown

I stopped by to grab a smoothie, and while I was waiting, I noticed something concerning. One of the employees, a woman in grey slippers, was in the back picking her nose. She then came out to prepare smoothies for customers. Meanwhile, the supervisor seemed more focused on chatting with his staff about his workout routine than supervising them. If this is how employees behave with several customers in the store, I can only imagine how she maintains her work station. I chose not to ask for a refund and simply left.

I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars because the bathrooms are out of order and have been for quite a while. It's really inconvenient to stop here during my lunch break only to have to look for a bathroom elsewhere. I simply don't have the time for that. There's a sign that says "out of order, sorry for the inconvenience," but honestly, just be straightforward and say there are no public restrooms if that's the case. I can't imagine it takes months to fix a bathroom.

I got the açaí berry smoothie and it was amazing. The customer service here was top tier when I spilled my smoothie, Rell was so kind to make me another one free of charge and gave me a smaller smoothie in addition to share with a friend. Definitely recommend!

Excellent food, smoothies and service! There are a few tables outside to sit and eat but no tables inside to eat at if I remember correctly.

The smoothies are soo good! i love the peanut butter cup. i definitely recommend!!
