Outback Steakhouse - Hagerstown

The salad was fresh, the steak was fantastic, and the potato was excellent, but Andy's service was outstanding. Overall, I’d rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.

I rarely feel at ease when dining out with food allergies, but our waiter Jamie and the kitchen manager (I believe that was his role, though I missed his name) were absolutely incredible. They made me feel secure and comfortable, even as I asked numerous questions! I had initially ordered asparagus as a side, unaware of any potential issues, but they proactively approached me to offer broccoli instead, explaining that the butter used on the asparagus contained traces of an allergen. This level of care and consideration is unmatched; there has only been one other restaurant we've visited that has been this understanding and accommodating regarding food allergies.

The food was delicious! We arrived at 2:45 PM and were seated right away. Our server, Nigel, was fantastic! She was friendly, quick, and efficient. We had a wonderful experience at Outback. Thank you for making our special day even better with a great meal!

Update: We returned to Outback for my son’s birthday, celebrating with my wife, kids, and parents—his choice for dinner. I would undoubtedly rate this visit as another five-star experience. The only downside was that he wanted the staff to sing "Happy Birthday," but they didn’t, so it was just us singing to him. I’ve noticed a trend in the restaurants we’ve visited since COVID, and that’s consistent quality. The food was great, and our service was commendable thanks to our waitress, Ty. All in all, it was a wonderful experience celebrating our son’s birthday!
