The staff and food Hempen Hill are exceptional! Friendly laid back atmosphere, fun events, free live music on Sat nights, 2$ draft and the most incredible wings I have ever had! Keep up the great work!

Everything is delicious!!! You will not find a better place to eat in Hagerstown, MD. The pulled pork with the smoked mac cheese are among my favorites. The Alamo Melt will make your mouth water and leave you wanting more long after the sandwich is gone! I can not say enough about Hempen Hill. The excellent service is an added benefit to this establishment.

The service has been excellent both times I have visited. All of the food was GREAT too! I only wish you weren't located so far away from me!

Crab cakes we 're heavy on the spices. Sides were great, 1/2 bird great. Server, not so great: no hello, I 'm so and so, I 'll be your server ,,,,, had her hands on her hips when approaching and talking to us, like she didn 't want to even do this job, no smiles or just plain happy to serve us. We tipped her anyway hoping to give her cause to smile,,, who knows,,,, we probably won 't return.
