Nick's Grocery Deli - Hackensack

Good cashier n good owner. We love to visit this place.

I ordered food from this restaurant through Uber Eats yesterday, including a mushroom burger, a Jamaican beef patty, and a turkey sandwich. The only item they got right was the turkey sandwich. Instead of the mushroom burger, I received a bacon cheeseburger, and they sent me an ice-cold empanada that was practically frozen. How do places like this manage to stay in business?

I visited the restaurant for a sandwich around 4:30 PM and was shocked to see that none of the staff were wearing masks. The employees at the cash register and the sandwich makers were all without masks. When I confronted the man making my sandwich, he made excuses. As I was leaving, the girl behind the cash register finally put on her mask. I will definitely not return to this place. I advise others to be cautious.

The cashier is great, and the owner is wonderful. We always enjoy visiting this restaurant!

The sandwiches are delicious and tangy. Nick's has the best steak and cheese subs in Hackensack!
