New Heritage Diner - Hackensack

I had a surprisingly enjoyable meal at the new Heritage Diner. Interestingly, while the diner is labeled as new, it has an extensive menu that caters to a variety of tastes. I chose from the lunchtime specials, which included a soup, a main dish, and ice cream for dessert. I ordered the tuna pita with French fries, and to my surprise, it was quite delicious. I often judge a diner by its French fries, and after adding a bit of salt and ketchup, they turned out pretty good. I don’t usually eat soup, especially not at a diner, but the vegetable soup I had was very tasty and enjoyable. Plus, they offer free refills on fountain soda, which I appreciated.

This is a fantastic classic Jersey diner offering delicious diner fare 24/7. They serve beer, wine, and cocktails, and there's a nice little salad bar as well. Don't forget to try their classic pies and cakes for dessert. While it may not be brand new and shiny, it has plenty of character. It's definitely a great place to eat!

This diner is quite good, though not the absolute best. The prices are generally in line with what you’d expect at most diners, and the food is typically better than average. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They also have a small salad bar for those interested. However, I found their response when things go wrong to be somewhat disappointing. On my last visit, there was a clear issue in the kitchen, but I received only a brief apology with no effort to address the problem or offer any compensation.

EXCELLENT!!! Everything was EXCELLENT!!! The food was incredibly delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The other patrons were polite and welcoming. I tried the turkey, bacon, and avocado wrap in a spinach pita, and it was AMAZING! My wife ordered the chicken stir-fry over rice, and she thoroughly enjoyed it! We will definitely be returning soon.
