Big G's Pizza & Restaurant

We decided to have dinner in Guysborough and found that most of the tables at the restaurant were not cleared and the place seemed a bit dirty. The bathroom was not working and we were directed to go to Robin's to use a restroom. They do not offer a complimentary glass of water, you must buy it. The service was also subpar, but unfortunately there were no other options for dining in the area.

Absolutely the best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time! Reasonable prices, huge servings and wonderful customer service. The place was very clean, and very inviting! We were seated right away, and our food was on the table within 10 minutes! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food was piping hot, and there’s enough on one plate for 2 people! The panzerotti was the size of a small turkey! If you’ve never tried this little hidden gem of a restaurant, I suggest you do! We Definitely will be returning to Big Gs in Guysborough!

We stopped for lunch and I ordered 3 piece fish n chips. They brag about homemade food but the fries were frozen and very salty. the fish was disgusing, it was over cooked and tough, the batter was so thick, there was more batter than there was fish. I was extremely disappointed at the poor quality of the food. It was also expensive for the poor quality. the pieces of fish were very small and 1/2 the size of any place else I have had fisn n chips at. I would not recommend the restaurant,best advice..keep on driving to someplace else

The chicken souvlaki pita was delicious and full of flavor. However, my husband's scallops seemed to be pre-breaded and frozen before being cooked.

Located on the main road, this restaurant was definitely worth a stop. The interior had a classic diner feel, although it could benefit from a thorough cleaning. The food was excellent, with the Oven Club sub being a standout option. The cheeseburger and Caesar salad were also delicious choices. It seemed like the staff may have been short-handed that evening, as a few individuals appeared to be multitasking.
