American Legion Post 771 - Gurnee

I went for a pancake breakfast and was really disappointed. It was an all-you-can-eat event from 8 AM to 12 PM, and I arrived at 8:45. I received just one pancake, two sausages, two pieces of bacon, and some scrambled eggs. I wanted coffee, but they had run out. When I went back at 9:10, I could only get one pancake again. I didn't want sausage, but since they had run out of bacon, I took two sausages instead. Once more, the coffee was empty, so I ended up with milk instead. I don't think I'll be returning for any of their future events.

This restaurant attracts great people. It has a bit of an old-school vibe, but they still host karaoke on Saturdays. The service is excellent, and it’s always important to support our veterans!

This is an excellent venue for hosting any event. They rent out the two spaces at a reasonable price, especially for military personnel.

What an incredible venue steeped in history! They host fantastic events, and everyone is invited to join in. One highlight coming up is the Breakfast with Santa on December 10, 2022.

I attended the Gurnee Beer Fest to support our veterans, and I was pleased to find that they also had clothing available for sale, with the proceeds benefiting veteran organizations.
