W Cafe (the Dub - Gunnison

The W Cafe in Gunnison is a must-visit spot. They serve breakfast all day and lunch featuring locally sourced ingredients. With a diverse menu, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Although there may be a short wait, it is definitely worth it. Their french toast is made with sourdough and their chicken fried steak is hand-breaded. Options include flat iron steak, chicken fried steak, and more. The omelettes are amazing and everything on the menu is excellent. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.

The meals at this restaurant were excellent! I tried the grilled tuna sandwich and was amazed at how delicious it was. The service was quick and outstanding. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was just right. Overall, a great dining experience. Food: 5/5.

Cafe W is the only place where you can get REAL shredded hash browns! Other restaurants only serve a McDonald's-like patty. The bacon and sausage were cooked perfectly, and the eggs were made to order. They even accommodated my request for egg whites only, which other places in town would not do. The pancakes were large, fluffy, and delicious. The coffee was fresh, with plenty of refills. The staff was friendly and the service was fast, despite being very busy. The tables and silverware/cups were clean, although a bit dated. Overall, Cafe W provided the best breakfast I have had during my week-long vacation. Thank you, Cafe W!

This place is amazing! Every trip to Gunnison/Crested Butte includes a trip to the W . Our go to is an omelet and blueberry pancakes. Alexa, our waitress, was awesome! She got our food to us quickly and like always it didn 't disappoint! Thanks for the great service Alexa and also the hug from McKayla who checked us out! Don 't miss this local gem! Back to Texas! See ya this winter!

The corner table we were sat at had around a dozen or so flies sitting on it, the table was also directly next to the kitchen...... food was generically mediocre to bland. Not a bad price if it tasted better thoughFood: 1/5
