The Workshop Cafe - GUNBOWER

The restaurant offers a variety of delicious homemade foods such as sausage rolls, cakes, and Cornish pasties. The coffee is great and there is a room filled with antiques to explore.

We had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The cake was fantastic, the coffee was delicious and served piping hot. The staff were extremely friendly. The cakes were enormous and delicious. Everything is made in-house, including the exquisite vanilla flavor. We can't wait to return and try their big breakfast. Overall, we would give them a perfect 10 out of 10.

This café is a hidden gem in the small town of Gunbower. The food is homemade, but of 5-star quality. They have unique outdoor furniture and on your way out, pick up some homemade jam or sauce. You will leave feeling very satisfied.

Excellent food coffee all made fresh on the ground. breakfast, lunch, morning afternoon tea. great service, very friendly staff, tables in the inner all clean neat.

If there is no other reason to visit Gunbower than to eat at this cafe, then I would add it to your list. This cafe is one of those special places that you visit when you are out in Regional locations. Gunbower is an exceptionally...pretty town ... so let me assure you that it 's worth making a day visit. The waterways are stunningly beautiful here. But I digress... back to this cafe... It has a distinctly rustic appeal on arrival and it ' 's very inviting. There is oodles of car parking available and it is away from other businesses so there is no risk of not getting a carpark here. As you enter, your senses are assailed with the smell of home cooking... and let me assure you that while it 's a good thing, soon you are trying to decide which one of their delectable items you want to consume and ... the choices are all appealing. Service here exceeds expectations... they are truly amazing. I ordered a sausage roll and a coffee. I know that you are thinking with all the choices... why a sausage roll? Well it reminded me of home in that brief moment. This was the BEST sausage roll I have ever eaten in a cafe/bakery... EVER! I would return just to eat one again and it did occur to me that I should ask if they have any that I could take home for my freezer, but then,.. that doesn 't encourage me to return soon. There is a strong reason why the reviews for this cafe are so good, it 's because it 's going for gold in all areas... ambience, service, food and value. This cafe would put Gunbower on the map even if Gunbower wasn 't so incredible on it 's own merits.
