Contribuiți la feedbackY'all. This is my new favorite trendy but casual place in Lexington. We came here for dinner. The food was delicious and came out fast. I recommend the curry bowl, seafood pasta, ribs, or deviled eggs. All of the drinks and dishes have a unique spin on them. The owner is WONDERFUL and waited on us and accommodated us on a Saturday night even though we didn't have a reservation. She answered all of our questions and we got to learn about Sri Lankan food/spices. Not a lot of seating but they do have indoor/outdoor tables. There are vegan and gluten free options. Easy parking because it's in a plaza. I hope this place sticks around. Check it out!
Lexington, KY and the general central KY area have a much more diverse food scene now than when I moved there 9 years ago. Part of the success of many small ethnic eateries in the area have been the warmth of service and the demand for variety in an area that has had cultural homogeneity for a very long time. Given how lovingly my hundreds of friends in the area embrace and welcome new businesses serving diverse food, I was surprised to hear the restaurant was not doing so well. One look through their social media accounts and responses to Google reviews, and I understood the problem clearly. If their service was even half as dedicated as their attempts at snarky responses to dissatisfied customers are, if they truly wanted to immerse themselves in the loving and hardworking city of Lexington instead of thinking their culinary expertise from posh food tours and metropolises is somehow too good for Kentuckians, and if their whiny attitude toward criticism was turned into mindful note-taking, I would feel really bad for them. However, it is crystal clear that they are now drinking the (Ceylon) tea they chose to brew. Oh well...
Amazing food. I love the lentil fritters and jackfruit curry bowl. Also great wine and cocktail selection. They have captured a vibe that has been missing in Lexington. Highly recommend!
Amazing find in Lexington! The fusion menu was really well done, with quality ingredients and a unique spin. You can't miss out on the happy hour a great place to meet friends after work and hang on the patio. The mango dessert is a must order!
My friends and I visited for a brunch and everything was so good! Not only delicious, but unique and unexpected. I’m southern, so I know biscuits and gravy, but not like this! It felt adventurous to eat like this and I really enjoyed it. The chef (owner) came over to our table and spoke to us about the food, giving us more info and context about what we were eating and just generally making sure we were having a good time. I’ll be back!
