Izakaya Raku - Grover Beach

We placed an online order through their website, but shortly after, we received an email saying our order had been cancelled. Despite this, our card was still charged and it took nearly a week to receive a refund. We tried calling multiple times but they never answered the phone.

Great food. bad reaction on reservations. No one phones. not reliable hours or holiday periods. long waiting period

First off, the customer service here is wonderful! The hostess who was also our server was very kind and took care of us very well. I am giving four stars because of the ramen. I've had real ramen many different places, the noodles they use are low quality ramen noodles or perhaps they were old? The broth was very good though and the sushi was good as well.

We are on vacation and “googled” best Sushi in the area!!! We loved our experience, the food is amazing, a glass of Pinot Grigio with octopus salad, miso soup, baked lobster roll and tempura shrimp!!! We will definitely be back!!! Very kind staff too?

Small, intimate restaurant manages by the owner. Selection was good, dish was fresh and probably purchases for each day as several items were unavailable later in the day
