Runza - Gretna

Three things: 1: It 's Runza, so order a Runza or go elsewhere. Seriously, can 't you get a burger, chicken sandwich, salad, or chicken strips anywhere? If you 're at Runza get a Runza. Don 't know what a Runza is? Google search bierock. 2: It 's fast food, so adjust your expectations accordingly. The key to happiness is low expectations. 3: Don 't use the drive thru. Never use the drive thru. Normalize *NOT* getting drive thru or take out. Spend the whopping 10 minutes to sit down in the dining room and enjoy your hot fresh meal. I 've been to this Runza several times. No major problems to note. Food is good for what it is. Staff are generally friendly.

Charlie is the absolute best! The mushroom burger is great and so is the ice cream, especially the ice cream sandwich.

I ordered ranch at the drive thru and was charged for it. Upon checking my bag I noticed I did not receive the ranch I ordered. I was not upset but I was craving it so we went back through the drive thru as the lobby was closed. I nicely asked if we could have some ranch as it was forgotten. The lady at the window swore she gave it to me and demanded to see my bag of food. I told her I didn't want her barehanded digging through my bag. She slammed the window shut and walked off. She came back with gloves and demanded twice more to see my bag. I handed it over and she dug through it and realized she definitely did not give me my ranch, so she threw it in my bag and shoved it at my boyfriend who was driving, not apologizing at all and slammed the window again. Not only did I find this extremely rude, but also nasty. It's literally a cup of ranch dressing. Demanding to dig through my food and acting like I'm lying was extremely unnecessary and probably a health code violation.

If you're in a hurry don't bother coming here. Half the time they run out of runzas before 730pm. Also the wait is terrible! Most nights it takes 30-40 minutes to get through the drive thru. As I'm typing this I'm at minute 25 with six cars to go. They've only served 3 cars since I got into queue. If I wasn't craving a runza I would have immediately gotten out of line Edit: 36 minutes but I'm passed the ordering screen
