Dotty Dumpling's Dowry - Greshamville

Was there with my parents for lunch on 7.20. The chili cheese dog was lacking in chili-it was chunks of diced meat with a hint of chili like sauce, drenched in plastic cheese sauce. I questioned the waitress about the chili and she said that was normal however it’s been a more traditional chili cheese dog served to us before. We also had a grilled chicken sandwich, and the chicken was greatly overcooked dry and tough. The food previously has been top-notch however, this was not their best showing. Our service was nice, the atmosphere also nice. I really hope that they step up their game before the football and hockey season so, or else they will continue to get subpar reviews like mine going forward.

We were only briefly in town and heard that Dotty’s had the best burgers in Madison. I ordered the The Pub based on our server Michelle's recommendation. It was an absolutely delicious burger with perfect proportions and a juicy patty. The service was phenomenal and Michelle gave us great attention whilst answering any questions we had. Would love to visit again if I am ever back there!

I always love going to Dotty’s, the food is great and the staff is so friendly! Particularly love sitting at the bar when Taylor is working. She is kind, gets drinks and food quickly, and is so fun to chat with.

The melting pot burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Good vibes, great food, with good service. Absolutely recommend.

A def must of Madison. Dotty’s has great burgers and pickles and dogs. Top tier bars food. Don’t expect a fine dining experience but if you want a burger cooked right and a mess of toppings here is the place. Also order the pickle boat and root beer on tap.
