Pie Vs Pie - Gresham

The quiche was disappointingly small, just a thin slice. My chicken pot pie was extremely dry and bland. We left feeling very dissatisfied. My husband even mentioned he’s never had such a tiny portion in his life; it didn’t even qualify as a lunch. The salad was practically just a garnish. I gave it a decent rating because the place is well-decorated, but the food experience was far from enjoyable.

I don't see what all the rave reviews are about. My dad treated me to a caramel apple cake, and while the crust was wonderfully flaky and had the perfect texture, it really fell short on flavor. The sweet apple filling was scarce and it was topped with about two inches of bland crumbs. I feel bad for my dad since I know these cakes aren't cheap.

The crust was excellent—light and fluffy with a crispy topping. We also tried another berry cake, which was delicious. It was sweeter than what we typically expect from berry desserts, but the flavors were delightful. We'll definitely be back soon to sample more of both the sweet and savory cakes. Thank you!

Great cake selection, friendly staff, waiting time is not bad at all. Fruit cakes are delicious, and the dinner cakes are full of taste and filling. Pricing is great to stop when you explore the city center gresham or if you are just in the mood for a slice of a delicious leak. Whole cakes must be ordered in advance.

I ordered the apple pie and a friend ordered a sort of mixed berry pie. I might have liked this a lot more if the pie was heated up. I liked the apple more than the berry as it was a little sweeter, but not too sweet! You overall know it's a good pie with the crust and this crust was great (again probably better if warm). I'd recommend getting this to go for reheat.
