Greenwell Point Hotel - The Bistro and Pizza Bar

Pizza is amazing has to be my favourite i come from sydney and when im visiting i certainly grab a pizza from here , service is good and quality of food is nice

Better than normal pub fair. Great steak. Great service. Then we went into the bar for one drink. Atmosphere and service was great. I think the barman is psychic. New our drinks before I ordered. Many drinks later we left happy that we had been there. Treated as locals.

I had a excellent meatlovers pizza here it was giant and very tasty , you can also get takeaways as well

When we first moved here, two Christmases ago, it was Christmas Eve—and we had forgotten to organise any food *and it was about 20:30* (eight-thirty p.m.). We walked over the the Bowling and Sports Club and—the horror—the Bistro had just closed (not enough customers). Everything else in the area was closed—or was it? Someone suggested going to the Greenwell Point Hotel, and we did.The staff there are very friendly (we have been back many times since) and on the night in question a lovely lady said that the only food they had left were their pies, so we bought four of them (with sauce, naturally). The pies were amazingly good; extremely good, in fact. Equal to the best I have had, anywhere. Rick thick gravy, plenty of beef in the beef one, the chicken ones weren't gluggy and gooey as they so often are, and each one had a distinct taste (I had a beef one, and a steak and mushrooms one; my partner had one-and-a-half chicken ones; can't recall what the second chicken one had besides chicken).Johnno, the owner is a character, and a lovely human being, and we have got to know him quite well since that night.

Just around the corner from our accommodation and had a good menu. Staff were very friendly and the food was good.
