Salt N Pepper Bistro - GREENWELL POINT

So not a flash restaurant but since the club took it back over it had improved a lot. Tonight I had the schnitzel special and my wife had the scotch fillet - both very good.

My family and I spent the weekend at greenwell point and ate at the bistro on tge Monday evening. It's the second time we have been there (from goulburn) and the food is both varied and reasonably priced. Even better still is the food itself. Delicious! The staff are friendly and I would rate this as being one of the best bistros in the state.

This is a old favourite when visiting Greenwell point , Staff seem over worked but the order taker still keeps a smile when your ordering ,some food is ok some not so good depends on what you get ,souvlaki wrap meat is tough ,heard staff complainning about the work load which put us off our food .

Very disappoint evening, we ate here last night and will not go back again! We ordered and were told it would be an hour wait ! fair enough they had a big table that had ordered, after 45 minutes the buzzer went off and we were told the fish we wanted wasn't available, so they offered us flathead instead, 15 minutes later the buzzer went off again, it was flathead tails, chips and salad, It was awful, cold chips and fish, very pale, and not cooked ! Please if you are making me wait an hour at least cook the food properly !I ate the salad and that was all the rest was inedible, please make sure your chefs cook the food, I want fresh crispy fish and chips that are hot , I was hoping that the change in management would improve the food, obviously not, shame the chinese restaurant was closed at least there food is excellent.
