Kings Roast - Greenlane

Great service but absolutely shocking food especially when it's so expensive. Paid $40 for 2 large roast meals, barely any meat in them, have been here twice, I will not be back. Feeling ripped off, guys save the disappointment, go somewhere else.

Really disappointed with this place. For the high price for a roll $8), half of that roll is filled with salad so they don't have to fill it with meat). When I asked without salad, they still only half filled the roll. Stingiest amount of meat I have ever had on a roast roll. There potatoes are usually dry, horrible and small. If you compare their meals with what you get at Stanleys in Kelston, whose rolls are only $6, not filled with mainly salad, big golden potatoes, loads of meat, there is no comparison. Pity this is the closest roast place to where I work though. I also requested my roll be buttered but they won't even do that for their customers so I have to take it back to work, empty the pathetic amount of meat out, butter and put it back together. Bad customer service.

Guys!!! Not sure why this place has bad reviews but been here a couple of times (we were very hesitant to try at first after seeing the reviews)! We always get a small pork roast and I can’t fault it. $12 for some cheap feeds, pork is juicy and tasty and the crispy skin is sooooooo good. The golden potatoes, kumara and pumpkin are also so good but not a big fan of the frozen peas and carrots. This place doesn’t deserve the 2.9. Descent feed but not the healthiest.

Not the best roasts or food I have had small portions and the price doesn’t reflect what you get, but people like roasts so they go there to by a roast meal unfortunately for costumers there is no other option but this option in and around Lincoln Ed.

Yummy food, and fast and friendly service. 4 star rating because a couple of times the pork has been very dry and my roast potatoes have tasted Abit off, tasted like the oil they were cooked in hadn't been changed or something. Overall would recommend
